How do I measure my drawer?
Please refer to this instructional video on how to measure your drawer.
Remember, you measure the drawer and we'll take care of making the divider fit!
Why use a credit card to measure?
Given the custom nature of our products, we want to be millimetre perfect! It can be quite difficult to accurately judge the curve of the tape measure and it is especially tricky in small drawers or drawers that can't be removed. Credit cards are universally the same size (54mm wide). This handy fact makes them very useful for measuring internal dimensions. Measuring to the edge of the credit card and then adding in the credit card dimension allows you to keep the measuring tape flat, ensuring the most accurate results. It is a good idea to measure your drawers more than once to verify accurate results.
How are Drawerganisers made?
Our system will take the dimensions you've entered and your Drawerganiser will be custom-made to suit your drawer, leaving just enough space for easy installation.
Our design philosophy aims to produce beautiful, functional products while minimising resource consumption. Using bamboo as part of this cleverly engineered design ensures you will have elegant, durable dividers that will stand the test of time.
What material do you use to make the Drawerganisers?
We use FSC Certified bamboo. Our bamboo plywood is beautiful, sustainable and ethically sourced, making it a great choice for our homes and environment.
Drawer side profile - why is this important?
All drawers are constructed differently. Typical wooden construction will have a straight 90 degree side edge. Drawers that have a straight edge are commonly found in wardrobes, chest of drawers, offices and bathrooms.
However, there are drawers that have a slight (or not so slight!) curve. These are commonly found in kitchens and usually have a metal construct. These need to be identified in the design process as the Drawerganisers butt up against the drawer sides. On the Customisation page for each product, you will be able to explore all the different types of drawer curves we cater for. If your particular drawer is not currently available, please contact us. Our products are designed to fit your drawer.
Why do I have to enter in four sets of dimensions?
In our experience, we have found that many drawers are out by several millimetres, therefore we use these measurements as extra check points in our system before we create your custom made Drawerganiser.
The height of your Drawerganiser should be shorter than the height of the drawer wall. This is to ensure that your drawer will close once the Drawerganiser is in place.
In the kitchen, we recommend a Drawerganiser height of 50-60mm. This is to ensure ease of access to your cutlery and utensils.
How will my Drawerganiser look when it arrives?
Your Drawerganisers will be despatched flat and you won't need any tools to put them together. Clear instructions will be emailed to you. This is not the sort of flat pack that risks the longevity of relationships, we promise!
How long will it take for my order to be made?
Manufacturing, packing and handling time is generally 5-10 business days. If there are any delays beyond this, we will be sure to let you know.
Products - Utility
The measurement of the dividing bar is taken from the front of the drawer. Please play around with the design tool to view how your design looks.
